Digital Lcd Jump

There is no doubt that high definition television can offer a fantastic viewing experience compared to the standards of older television. However, the visual aspect is only part of the goal of creating a realistic home theater-up. Good audio is the other vital component, and no matter how good speakers television can be, does not compare to a good surround sound system.
There are two main options, both widely available: 5.1 and 7.1. The numbers refer to the number of channels, and therefore the speakers, always. A 5.1 system supports 6 speakers. The '.1' is the subwoofer, designed to play low frequencies, as the thunder and explosions. The other 5 speakers (sometimes called satellites) is divided into left and right in front of the listener, left and the right surround speakers, located slightly to the rear of each side and center front. 7.1 systems are the same as that provided 5.1-up, with the adding two additional speakers situated behind the listener. There is a less popular version 6.1, adding a single surround back channel extra.
Most people agree that a 7.1 system provides a more realistic audio experience with more depth and immersive qualities. This is especially true for large rooms. However, 5.1 is a perfectly suitable option for most applications.
If you decide to buy a surround system sound, you can choose to buy an A / V receiver and speakers separately, or opt for one of the many packages on the market that include everything you need. Both options have their advantages, for example, is usually easier to create an all in one package, but separate purchase lets you choose the best individual components for your requirements individuals. The receiver is the heart of a surround sound system, the provision of amplification and the provision of inputs and outputs. Do not be concerned with the purchase a particularly high energy receiver. Vendors often quote sound impressive powers, which many people translate as meaning large volumes, which not necessarily the case. If you're worried about all the cables in question may be a good idea to consider a wireless system. While these are not a cable truly free choice, which eliminates the need for wiring in the rear (surround) speakers.
Once you have purchased the system, take time to plan the location of television and other components. Correct speaker position can have a dramatic effect on the overall audio experience.
To those who, for reasons of cost or available space, not in the car I want to go surround sound yet, there is always the option of "virtual" surround sound. Many new TVs come with the ability to simulate surround sound experience with only two speakers, using SRS systems like Trusound.
